Sitamkhez khushi

Aaj humko mili ek ba-mashoor sitam,
Guftgoo aisi, ke kanon pe pada waram,
Rehen-sehen aisa, zaroorat pade na kabhi haram,
Zuban aisi ez, kaam kare na koi marham.

Jahan bhi mohtarma pahunchi, aawaz yahi aai
Ya Rab, hai ilteja, kar is tapish ko naram.

Zaahir thi baat itni, phool ne sajaye they kaante,

Ek choti si kalaf pe,badli theen saugatein

bibi, mashwara humara bus itna sa hi hai
Phool ka martaba kaanton se bada hai,
Aftaab ki roshni se, saja rozana jahan hai
Alama ki zubaan se, ilm ka noor bada hai

Toh Aaj, aap lelijie ek zarroori ahad
khushion ka padne dengi kabhi nahi Qahad

The case of cold cupboard

The meeting with the Prince went on well. The Prince told another interesting story today. A story from the year 1956. The story of a minister who was given a fridge to homour his allegiance with the ruling party, and its formidable chief minister.

The Indian Government had just been formed, and each state had separately started functioning. Each minister was being sent better furniture, home appliances at their official residence, for more comfort.

The minister came from a modest back ground, when the fridge arrived at his home, he and his wife were curious to know why the Chief minister had sent such a strange cupboard. Any ways , the gift was to be accepted and honoured.
The humble wife, within few minutes had set the new cupboard with the clothes of his husband. Clothes in the lower portion of the strange cupboard and vests in the top section along with the the meagre savings of the minister.
It was not long before the minister caught cold, and started sneezing in the assembly.
Seeing the poor health condition of his beloved minister the Chief minister approached him, and asked him why does n't he take proper medications for his sickness. Please do not have anything cold- to which the minister replied, can i return you back the cold cupboard and i am sure i will get well.
